Har Mandir Singh 'Hamraaz' has written that when he was making trips all over India to collect information for his Hindi Film Geet Kosh volumes, often Bhim Raj Garg used to go with him to collect information for his work on Punjabi Film Geet Kosh.
In fact when the editors of the Encyclopedia of Indian Cinema (1999) were looking for information on Punjabi films, he was their only source.
His work was finally published in 2019.
