A few days ago I learned the sad news from Iqbal Ajmeri that his elder brother Farooq Ajmeri passed away in March. He was the third son of the well-known clarinet player Master Ebrahim. Just like his father and brothers, he played many instruments for All India Radio Recordings and for Indian movies in many languages. He is mainly known for saxophone and vibraphone. May he rest in peace.
